Hi,
you may recall a discussion here on the list some time ago on whether
our configurators should either configure
- Proxy = None
- Proxy = Auto-Detect
- Proxy = (let admin configure None|Auto-Detect)
I think I recall that there was a tendency towards Auto-Detect, as it
will do no harm if there is no proxy, and will do some good if there is
some proxy.
What I would not support is to allow manual proxy configuration in the
admin UI - eduroam hates proxies, and non-transparent proxies even more so.
I'm inclined to just set Proxy=Auto in all our profiles for CAT 1.1. If
you have issues with that action, please voice your concerns now...
