Hi Aaron, I am not entirely sure what is your situation here, but the rule is that the authentication which you have used acting on the invitation ticket must be also used later. CAT will let you authenticate with another federated identity, but this other identity will not be connected to the institution for which you have received the initial invitation. If an administrator wants to change the authentication methods then the only way is by issuing another invitation. The invitation may be sent either by the federation administrator or by the institution administrator, who has originally been invited by the federation administrator. Therefore if you have received an invitation form the federation administrator and authernticated with the Google account, you may send yourself another invitation and react by logging in with another account. This way you are an administrator of the same institution with both accounts but only the first one gives you powers to invite new ones. If you want a "full powers" administrator's account then the only way is to ask the federation administrator to issue a new invitation. Cheers, Tomasz W dniu 2013-04-18 23:20, aaron street

Hi,
a while back I set up an account for the CAT tool for
my institute "The pirbright Institute" (formally institute of
animal health.)
however going back I am haivng problems logging in, I
would have used a social network account but I am not sure
what one, and once I have entered the credentials once there
seems to be no way of logging out, I just get a screen
saying, and can't log out to try another account.
"
You are not managing any institutions.
Please ask your federation administrator to invite you to
become an institution administrator.
"
Are you able to help me regain access to this account as
I am now in a postiton where I would like to look in to
setting it up for our users.
Kind regards
